HIGH POINT — The first phase of Congdon Yards will open in November with a commercial-grade woodshop “that will be the first of its kind in the Southeast and perhaps the country,” organizers announced Thursday.
Plant 7 will be the first building to open on the campus and will include a production and prototyping facility called The Generator that’s open to the public.

HIGH POINT — The Stickley Audi and Co. furniture showroom property next to Truist Point baseball stadium has been sold for $3.85 million to a limited licensed company headed by Old Dominion Freight Line Chairman David S. Congdon.
